GeoOrbis® is the Caribbean Distributor for Pixoneer Geomatics. Their flagship product, PG-STEAMER is a feature-rich image processing software application. A summary of it's key features are outlined below.

Single, enhanced GUI All graphical user interfaces are fully redesigned for the most recent release version, PG-STEAMER 4.0 RTP, for all functionality of the software package. All user interfaces have the same look and feel allowing users to feel comfortable with the software more quickly and not be timid about exploring the capabilities of the application.
XDM file format A fast and extendable tag-based data file that makes real time processing possible. Composed of a single file, it's all new in PG-STEAMER 4.0 RTP.
Real time functionality Users may now view processing results in real time in the following functions: Geometric Correction, Classification, Mosaicking, Orthorectification, Spatial Filtering, Band Math, Pixel editor, Radiometric Normalization, Image Sharpening, PCA, Index Transformation, Topographic Modeling, etc.
Image Composer The Image Composer now supports the viewing and processing of multiple data sets in multiple coordinate systems without the need for all the datasets to be in a single coordinate system. RGB/HSI composition between different coordinate systems is now fully supported. You can also create, manipulate, and display vector data in the Image Composer window regardless of the data coordinate system. PG-STEAMER 4.0 RTP also has the capability to directly open any generic image format (TIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, etc.).
Vector Composer The Vector Composer is a new tool for composing GIS and vector data and for managing property database with an easy interface. All layered vector data can be imported/exported from/to the general vector formats such as DXF, SHP, DGN. The Vector Composer uses MDB(Microsoft Database) files as the porperty datadase.
Mosaicking In PG-STEAMER 4.0 RTP, the mosaic function now allows the user to create single mosaicked images from source datasets in multiple coordinate systems without having to first transform all the data to a single coordinate system. It also supports masking in/out of each band and smoothing borderlines of masking polygons.
Geometric Correction New in this version is an easy and powerful interface for creating and editing ground control points (GCP's). PG-STEAMER 4.0 RTP supports real time overlaying of reference vector files on the corrected output using current GCP sets. In the overlay image, you can add a new GCP by dragging the image point to the overlay vector point. This method is very intuitive to the user.
Auto GCP Matching This is a powerful GCP finding tool between two images in different coordinate systems and different acquisition times. From three or more base GCP points, it finds thousands of GCP points within one-pixel accuracy.
Contour Manager The Contour Manager generates contours of any-sized, any type of raster data at specified levels. Patch-Contouring, a state of the art algorithm for contouring huge-sized data, can contour not only DEM & classified images but also general images.
